Transfer of BISP Funds to the Bank Accounts
The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP Funds), which provides financial help to Pakistani women, is available. The federal government of Pakistan started a program in 2008 to provide monetary assistance and health insurance to those who are below the poverty level, who number over five million people in Pakistan.

BISP Cash Grant Distribution Changes Announced by the Government:
Two significant adjustments were made to the way cash awards are awarded to the most deserving individuals by the government under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP). Nowadays, payments can be made directly into a person’s bank account and are dependent on whether they attend school.
Benazir Social Protection Account became operational on Friday. Beneficiary women will get payments directly into their accounts, where they can withdraw money whenever they want, and will be able to select the bank they want to use.

According to Shazia Marri, the minister for reducing poverty and ensuring social security, the National Bank of Pakistan, Bank Alfalah, JS Bank Limited, and United Bank Limited have been selected as the first institutions to implement the new payment model. Through a selection procedure, these banks were picked.
She explained that 8.6 million families received a Rs 16.3 billion (Rs 2,000 apiece) subsidy through the BISP to deal with the consequences of a rapid increase in the price of petroleum products, which was causing inflation to continue to grow.
